This Fund provides support for Brown University medical or Master's level public health student projects related to aging and mentored by School of Public Health faculty affiliated with the Center for Gerontology & Healthcare Research. The 2026 Ginsberg Aging Research Funds have been awarded to:
- Carlos Fuentes for work on the project, “Trends in Financial Hardship by Cognitive Impairment Status among a Nationally Representative Sample of Medicare Beneficiaries” under the mentorship of Professor Elyse Couch.
- Nana Amma Larbi for work on the project, “Melatonin Use and Potential Prescribing Cascades in Long-Stay Nursing Home Residents” under the mentorship of Professor Kaley Hayes.
- Syna Mody for work on the project, “Real-World Treatment Trajectories and Patient Characteristics Among Medicare Beneficiaries Initiating GLP-1 Semaglutide or GLP-1/GIP Tirzepatide” under the mentorship of Professor Yu-Han Chiu.
