Workshop in Implementation Science and Health Services (WISH): Advancing Grant Writing Skills for Rehabilitation Researchers

Workshop in Implementation Science and Health Services (WISH): Advancing Grant Writing Skills for Rehabilitation Researchers

The Workshop will be held in person in Alexandria, VA from June 1-3, 2027

Brown University Center for Gerontology & Healthcare Research, American Occupational Therapy Foundation, and Foundation for Physical Therapy Research invite rehabilitation researchers with an interest in implementation science, learning health systems research, or health services research to submit an application to participate in WISH 2027. This event builds on four prior successful WISH workshops. WISH is open to rehabilitation researchers from any profession.

The request for applications is now open for our next grant writing workshop. Please find more information below on requirements and workshop details.

The WISH workshop provides a valuable opportunity for rehabilitation researchers to work with experienced mentors and peer groups to further develop and refine your implementation science and health services research proposals. The workshop consists of training focused on the various aspects of grant development and submissions, grant writing time, and networking opportunities with program officers, experienced researchers, and peers in rehabilitation research.
