We are delighted to share that Dr. Kaley Hayes has been appointed Associate Director of Pharmacoepidemiology within the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research (CGHCR). In this new role, Dr. Hayes will help advance the Center’s research portfolio on pharmacoepidemiology, strengthen collaborations between faculty and staff working on medication-related research across Brown School of Public Health, and provide leadership support to the Center with regard to its strategic vision and initiatives.
As part of this effort, Dr. Hayes is leading the formation of the Pharmacoepidemiology and Regulatory Evidence Lab (PEARL) — a new collaborative initiative housed within CGHCR. PEARL will serve as a hub for researchers, trainees, and staff working on research on pharmaceuticals, regulated medical products, and related clinical interventions. The lab aims to foster cross-disciplinary research, mentorship, and strategic partnerships that generate evidence to inform safe, effective, and equitable use of medications.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Hayes as she steps into this new leadership role.
